OBJECTIVE

SEMINATEC 2015 is a continuation of previous workshops, all focused on technology trends in the areas of micro and nanotecnology.

SEMINATEC is organized by the Centro Universitário da FEI, in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, with support from the CNPq, and promoted by the IEEE FEI EDS Student Chapter, the IEEE ED South Brazil Chapter, the IEEE SSCS Chapter of the South Brazil Session, the IEEE UNICAMP ED Student Branch Chapter, the Brazilian Microelectronic Society, and the NAMITEC Science&Technology national institute.

The objective of the Workshop is to promote the interaction among industry, academy, research & development centers, government and students, all looking for real opportunities towards improving education, research, and technology.

The X SEMINATEC welcomes the submission of original papers in all areas related to semiconductors, optoelectronic devices, optics, fabrication of micro & nano-structures, microsystems, devices and integrated circuits. We also encourage participation of works in the area of device modeling, CAD and simulation.

Workshop Organization

The Workshop will be organized around a single plenary stream with several presentations from invited speakers from academy, industry and research funding agencies.

We invite the community to participate in the poster session that will happen during the X SEMINATEC. The 2-page abstract must be written in English following the instructions provided here and be sent by March 13, 2015.
