B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil) and the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil) in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from USP in 2010.
I am a full-time professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at Centro Universitário FEI (FEI), São Paulo, Brazil, where I teach subjects related to industrial automation and manufacturing systems. I am also a member of the master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering at FEI, working in the area of production systems. In addition, I serve as a scientific adviser to FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation – Brazil) and am a member of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society. Currently, I coordinate the Digital Manufacturing and Integrated Manufacturing Laboratories, as well as the 5G Solutions Center at FEI, where I develop projects related to Industry 4.0, energy consumption in manufacturing systems, IoT, and connectivity.>
