FEI IoT Lab approved two international projects related to agriculture.

The SWAMP - Smart Water Management Protocol project use of the Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, autonomous devices and other related technologies to improve water usage in agriculture.

The Sensing Change: using agriculture IoT sensors to cross-pollinate farming innovation project aims to increase access of farmers to affordable and sustainable agriculture sensing technologies to increase yields and better allocate limited resources. The main objectives of this proposal are to design, develop and test in real environmental conditions a proof-of-concept low-cost agriculture IoT sensor system powered by renewable energy.
